Konektid USAID Market Internship
Konektid International is a growing international development consulting firm with the mission of providing support to USAID implementing partners and those interested in working with USAID to more effectively win and manage work. Our executive team is recognized globally as the leading experts in the market. This internship is an opportunity to work directly with Konektid’s Chief Operating Officer and Account Manager to build USAID partnering skills.
This position can include unique opportunities to develop skills in demand by USAID partners. For candidates who demonstrate strong professional communication skills there can be opportunities to work directly with Konektid’s clients, gain experience working for USAID’s implementing partners, and build their network and experience in the USAID sector. This position is ideal for a candidate who is interested in working within the USAID sector after graduation.
This position is designed for a graduate student with an anticipated graduation date after November 2024. Desired start is March 2024. Responsibilities:
Communications coordination
Outreach communication to USAID business development consultants
Coordination and meeting scheduling with current and prospective clients
Potential opportunity for research support roles with clients
Operations support
Gain familiarity with contracting process by drafting agreement content
Check in with clients on current and prospective projects
Update sales, invoicing and payment trackers and other internal systems
Support COO and Account Manager in day-to-day operations and account management
Build your familiarity with the USAID business development market
Desired Qualifications:
Proactive and self-motivated professional;
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills;
Detail oriented;
Professional interest in working in the USAID market post-graduation;
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
Proficiency in G Suite, Salesforce, Airtable, and/or Microsoft Office (preferred).

This paid internship ($20 per hour) is anticipated to be between 10-20 hours per week. The successful candidate would start for a four-month period and would have a graduation date after November 2024. Anticipated start date is March 2024.
